No Borders, No Customs: Since December 27, 2007, the Czech Republic has belonged within the Schengen area and, therefore, has no national border controls with other Schengen countries. You enter the Czech Republic by car without having to stop at any border checkpoints. Similarly, there are no border checkpoints at airports when traveling to/from other Schengen countries. There are no Czech customs duties levied on collectors' items and never have been. However, on the proceeds from all items sold, there is a uniform 20% Czech VAT - that is the only tax. Participating in the Collector Fair in Prague is as easy as attending any exhibition in France, Spain, Germany, or Italy.

Forwarding and customs clearanc: BECK SPEDITION Prague will be at your service with their complete range of services before, during and after the fair, taking care of all forwarding matters as well as the customs formalities. We recommend, based on experience, that the ATA customs shipping carnet, which your country#s chamber of commerce will provide you with, be used during the import of saleable exhibits for the fair. It is possible to sell goods within the scope of the exhibition whilst using an ATA customs carnet. Customs duty is not required in the Czech Republic on the sales of collector#s items, but it is necessary to take into account the payment of value added tax at 20% of the declared value of the goods sold.

A representative from the shipping firm BECK SPEDITION will be present at the show.

Refreshments: Restaurant and cafeteria will be open directly at the Fairgrounds, in Hall 2H which is between Halls 3 and 4 and at the Foyer (see the plan).
