The stands and tables are prepared for exhibitors
one days before the fair from 2 p. m.

From 1 Jan. 2011, new rules took effect in the EU for the taxing of services provided at exhibitions and trade fairs. In practice, this means that all exhibitors from EU countries that are VAT payers will pay that tax in their home countries, and not in the Czech Republic as has been the case until now. Participation at the Collector trade fair will therefore be cheaper for exhibitors from the EU by the amount of the 20% Czech VAT. To put it in the language of an economist: these rules are applied based on the recipient of the service. Reverse charge is applied (reversal to the service recipient) if the recipient is a VAT payer within the EU and also has its place of business or headquarters there. If the recipient of a service is a foreign subject outside of the European Union or a party exempt from the tax, the taxation of that service shall continue to be governed by the place where the trade fair or exhibition takes place.
