The vast majority of exhibitors and visitors liked the last international fair Collector in Prague. Some were even delighted, such as Mr Michael Vojta from Vienna, who traditionally represents the auction house David Feldman SA at the fair.
Two days after Collector we received this fax from him: "I would like to congratulate you and your colleagues from the bottom of my heart on the record exhibition Collector 2003. I know how much hope, effort and skill is necessary to build up such an exhibition. The organisation was also excellent!"

We also received pleasing thanks along with a book Portugal in Stamps from Mrs. Ana Isabel Marques from the Portuguese Post Office. The Federation of Czech Philatelists wrote to us saying: "The International Fair Collector is now indelibly ingrained in the mind of the collecting public. Its sixth annual event ended earlier than we had hoped. For this reason we are looking forward to the seventh fair."
We could continue in the positive reactions to the finished trade fair. The positive reaction is also documented by the twenty pre-applications for the year 2004 which exhibitors filled in during the last Collector. But we are turning our attention to the 7th International Fair Collector, which awaits us on 10th - 12th September 2004.
At the fair we will naturally once again establish a preparatory area for future collectors, which made many children very happy. And the adults liked it as well, for example, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mr Tang Guoqiang, who viewed the fair in great detail on the very first day.

But we do not want to bring collecting closer only to children, but also to adolescents. And so in 2004, young people up to the age of 18 will have free admission to the fair.
It is a well-known fact that collecting is primarily the domain of men. In this aspect women are less forthcoming, and this is possibly only because they do not have an opportunity to see collectors in action. And so in 2004, all women will also be able to come free of charge.
We are also preparing accompanying exhibitions in cooperation with the Union of Czech Philatelists and the Czech Numismatic Society.
Immediately after the publication of the exhibition conditions for the year 2004 on the Internet, Mr Trevor Pateman from Great Britain was the first to apply. He was followed by the Prague company Filatelie Hobby, Leuchtturm from Germany, David Feldman from Switzerland and Wim van der Bijl from the Netherlands.
The firm Aix-Phila from Germany not only ordered the same stand as this year, but also a twenty-metre area for its second own display. It thus utilised the opportunity that from 2004 it is possible at the trade fair to order only an exhibition area, and bring the whole stand without complications from abroad (at the time of the holding of the trade fair, the Czech Republic will already be part of the European Union). The Postal Administration of the UN has also applied, and the auction house of Heinrich Köhler is one of several returning to Prague. They are all aware of the fact that if an application is sent by 29th February and the invoice is settled by 31st March 2004 they will receive a 10% discount.
As we are aware that postal administrations and mints plan their participation at trade fairs long in advance, at the end of October we sent out printed application forms with detailed information about the fair in 2004 to most of the postal administrations and mints around the world.
We will send the file for exhibitors to firms, dealers and collectors in January. But should anyone want to get the application out of the way right now, and if they do not want to download it from the Internet, they can send us an e-mail, and we will send them the material immediately.
