Aix-phila will have an even bigger offering

Fifty German philatelic auction houses achieve an annual turnover in the hundreds of millions of Euros. One of the best known German auction houses is the firm Aix-phila from Aachen, another traditional exhibitor at the Prague fair. Founded in 1987, Aix-phila has been participating at the COLLECTOR fair from the very beginning, and each year its participation has grown. This year it is preparing an even bigger offering for visitors than it had last year.

Chinese telephone card at the fair

For the international fair COLLECTOR the Chinese telecommunications firm China Tietong (CTT) in Hunan Province is releasing a limited issue of 300 prepaid phone cards (see the picture). The card number is CTT-2006-197200-17, its face value is 10 Yuan RMB, and the issue date is 1 March 2006. The card will be available in limited quantities at the fair.

Coins from around the world at the fair

The fair Collector is a Mecca for collectors of modern coins and for people who want to invest in coins. The Austrian Mint has traditionally had a large stand at the fair, along with several other mints, starting with the Royal Canadian Mint and finishing with mints from Australia, for example.

Lindner once again in Prague

Lindner Falzlos, a German maker of aids for philatelists and other collectors, will again be at this year’s fair. Founded in 1947 by August Lindner, since the start of the year the company’s management has passed on to what is now the fourth generation of Lindners. Right from the start, the firm has been known for its unique stamp protection system, from which over the years it has developed the famous Lindner-T-System, which is still used with success.

We have not permitted this company to use our name or trademarks in their advertising. In the case of the published advertisement of the company Construct Data GmbH, this is not our official trade fair catalogue nor official trade fair catalogue of our trade fair ordered by us. The unsolicited offer forms sent out were often filled in mistakenly and signed with the understanding that the entry in the so-called Fairguide was to be made free of charge. But in reality, costs exceeding 2,900 Euro are evident from the text in fine print.
