Harmers of London in Prague

Joining the exhibitors already registered from Great Britain is another noteworthy company. Presenting itself for the first time at this year's Collector trade fair, to be held in Prague from 15 to 17 September, will be Harmers of London. Founded in 1918, it is one of the most respected auction houses in the world that is involved with all aspects connected with philatelic material. Other exhibitors from Great Britain will be Trevor Pateman, Peter McBride, Bill Barrell and David Morrison.

What’s new from Czech Post

For this year’s trade fair, Czech Post is issuing post cards, on which in front of Prague Castle a cat is offering a dog a bone, and in return the dog is offering the cat a mouse. The humorous drawing is accompanied by the text “International Meeting of Collectors” and by information about the fair. The post cards will be for sale at the Czech Post stand. For the trade fair, Czech Post is also issuing a commemorative rubberstamp (the lettering is: Yearly Celebration of Collecting) and a commemorative rubberstamp for United Nations Day, which will be on Sunday, 17 September at the trade fair, as well as a sticker for registered letters (see the illustration).
