The well-known German numismatic firm Mietens & Partners from Salzgitter, has decided to join the new exhibitors at this year's trade fair. Another exhibitor from Portugal

In addition to the Portuguese Post Office, which participated at Collector last year and will be coming again this year, we will be welcoming the Portuguese State Mint for the first time. The mint, with its headquarters in the centre of Lisbon, is famous for its high-quality mintings not only for the purposes of its own country, but also for other states. It also makes medals and objects d'art from noble metals. The Czech Republic will have lively relations with Portugal after accession to the European Union. For example, at present the organising firm of the Prague trade fair Collector is organising the official Czech exhibition in Lisbon for the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Czech Republic.

Slovenian firm Phila once again in Prague

During its premiere last year at the trade fair, the firm Phila from Lubljana in Slovenia was highly satisfied. And so this year it is returning to Prague. It will not only offer philatelic material for sale, but it also wants to buy philatelic items of postal history from other collectors - primarily from the Second World War from the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

Zambia again, Hungary and Morocco for the first time

After a break of one year, when she could not attend the trade fair for administrative reasons, Mrs Namakau Kaingu is once again returning to Prague. Aziz Haqqi and Ouyahia Nordine will be coming to the trade fair from the well-known mineralogical centre of Midelt with an offer of an inexhaustible number of minerals, precious stones and fossils.

Vojta & Peters Auktionen

At this year's trade fair, the auction house Vojta & Peters Auktionen from Vienna will be presented for the first time. In addition to philatelic auctions, the new auction firm also specialises in conventional trading in philatelic material and in postal history. Mr Michael Vojta, a leading philatelic expert, has been participating at the trade fair collector every year since the first event in 1998.

Belorussian post office introduces itself

The Belorussian post office has joined the many postal administrations which will exhibit at the trade fair this year. During its first appearance at the trade fair it will offer postage stamps depicting the history and culture of this country as well as thematic stamps such as flora and fauna.

Everyone wants to go to golden Prague

The well-known German auction house Heinrich Köhler is returning to the trade fair. This Berlin firm was at Collector for the first time last year. In the same way the Swiss company Groth AG, which covers the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in philately, has already announced that after its first exhibition last year it will be returning to the Prague trade fair.
