We cordially invite you to the “Christmas Sberatel – Collector Fair“, where you will find an ample offer of coins, banknotes, post stamps, postcards, but also books, posters, graphic art, vintage ads, and other collector’s items.
The fair not only gives you an opportunity to buy some additions to your collection, but will also provide a source of inspiration for gifts for your friends and family members. Each piece displayed at the Sberatel fair is an original with its own story, which can make someone happy and can also turn into an interesting investment in future years.
The “Christmas Sberatel – Collector Fair“ features a rich accompanying programme, including autograph sessions of renowned graphic artists, displays of collector’s rarities, or christening ceremonies of new products.
This year, the famous Czechoslovakian Tatra 603 car celebrates two anniversaries – 70 years since its launch and 50 years since the end of its production. At the fair, it will be possible to purchase a nine-block stamp overprint with a reproduction of the painting “A Trip with the Tatra 603“ by artist Roman Sedlák. He will arrive at the fair on Friday for an afternoon autograph session.
This year also marks the anniversary of the saddest part of the entire Winnetou series „Winnetou – Part 3“, which was filmed in 1965. An interesting exhibition on the phenomenon of May film adaptations will be on display at the fair.
A Czech collector from Germany has managed to acquire a philatelic exhibit dedicated to the films featuring Winnetou and Old Shatterhand and their actors, Pierre Brice and Lex Barker. In addition to photos and articles from periodicals, it also contains rarities such as envelopes and commemorative stamps, which show that the postal service played a significant role in promoting the cinema hits of the time.
The exhibition will be complemented by autographs of the main and supporting stars who appeared in the films, from the collections of the chairman of the Czech Autograph Collectors’ Club.
Visitors will also be able to have their own collections appraised by experts from professional organisations directly at the fair. Visitors will have access to experts from the Czech Philatelists’ Union (postage stamps), the Czech Numismatic Society (coins, medals, banknotes), the Autograph Collectors’ Club (signatures) and the Museum of Securities (shares, securities).
