The Philatelic Biennale 2026, taking place from 29 August to 6 September 2026 in the beautiful Art Nouveau halls of the Municipal House in the centre of Prague, offers a unique opportunity to see some of the world’s most fascinating postage stamps in one place. The absolute highlight of the exhibition will be the British Guiana One-Cent Magenta, the world’s most expensive and rarest postage stamp, brought to Prague by the British auction house Stanley Gibbons. Other rarities on display will include the Mauritius Two Pence Blue and the famous Inverted Jenny. The Biennale 2026 takes place at the same time as the Sberatel Fair, so if you are coming to the fair this year, do not miss the Treasures of World Philately exhibition. The event is organised by the Prestige Philately Club Prague (PPCP), an exclusive association of leading Czech and international philatelists, collectors and investors who support the development and promotion of philately.
