The unique exhibition “Treasures of World Philately III” will take place from 29 August to 6 September. It therefore overlaps with the SBERATEL / COLLECTOR fair, which will be held on 4–5 September. The exhibition is organised by the Prague Prestige Philately Club at the beautiful Municipal House in the centre of Prague. Visitors will see unique philatelic treasures with a total value approaching 40 million EUR. The main attraction will be the world’s most expensive postage stamp, the British Guiana One-Cent Magenta. It will be displayed together with the famous American Inverted Jenny, featuring an aeroplane printed upside down and valued at around €1.86 million, as well as the Penny Black, the world’s first postage stamp.
